Eric turns 30!!!

Yesterday Meg hosted a 30th bday bash for Eric! It was so fun and the day was perfect for a BBQ! I think we had about 7 or 8 couples which was super fun! We just chilled in their backyard (perfect angle for the setting sun mind you) grilled some delicious BBQs and had a great time! His actual bday is Tuesay -- so he officially has 2 more days in his twenties --- enjoy them old man!! xoxo we love you!

17.5 Weeks!

So as busy as we've been we forgot to take a belly shot within the last two weeks! And now Blake is on travel again, so it's just me, my camera, and my trusty bathroom mirror! I'm starting to pop ... YAY!

Brady's newest joke

Ok I had to blog this --- too funny. It's Brady's newest joke. He asks you "Why does Bubba (the dog) lick his butt?" .... then you hear his response. I love my nephew!

Our trip to Ohio!

Where do I begin?! Our trip to Ohio was a whirlwind but so much fun! We got there on Wed and hung out with fam. Thurs - Fri we drove with Mike, Meghan and the kids to Cleveland to visit grandparent and aunts and uncles and share the excting pregnancy news! (told you I'd blog you Unc!) Friday we lounged around Nicole's and "grilled out" as mid-westerners call it. Saturday Nicole and Chris surprised us with tickets to the Kenny Chesney, SugarLand, Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum concert in Columbus! We tailgated (well I sorta did) and then went to the best concert EVER! It was so fun! And I made Bullie proud with my stealth like driving afteward. Sunday was the baptisim and I was so pround to be there with Carli! Monday we flew home. Can't wait to see them when they come our way in June!

Me and my GodDaugther!!

SugarLand --- see how close we were!

Here we are at the concert! Me and my hubs with our newest niece!

Daddy teaching Brady how to water plants at Aunt Nicole and Uncle Bullie's

At Grandpa's House!

Well it wouldn't be a Kluse family grill out without ....

My "just in case" great deal!

So, Wendi and I were out shopping today and I found in the clearance aisle the bedding I would have bought if the baby is a boy! We wanted to wait to find out the sex first and then buy bedding (go figure) but this was seriously like $200 off! I got the entire bedding collection for only $98!!! If it's a boy -- we're set! If it's a girl, I'm going to sell this (or maybe even hang on to it for down the road) and go back to the drawing board! I had been eyeing this set online for a couple weeks, so I can't believe I was lucky enough to find it! Gotta love digging in clearance aisles - you know me, I'm a sucker for a sale. :) (The bottom pic is one from online so you can see what it looks like all set up!!!)

My nephew and nieces!

Minus my newest little nice Carli, I can't believe how big my nephew and nieces are getting! The one immediately below is a pic of Mike and Meghan's kids: Brady (3 1/2) and Jodi (17 months) at the beach in New Jersey...aren't those suits adorable? And below are Nicole and Chris' daughters: Cami (16 months) and Carli (2 weeks!)...how cute is Cam's little bow?!? I can't wait to see them next week! LOVE YOU, Uncle Rudy & Auntie Brittney

Baby Kluse's heart beat at 15 weeks!!

Here is Baby Kluse's heartbeat at a little over 15 weeks! I taped it with my camera ... turn your speakers up so you can hear! :) It is the most relaxing, precious sound in the world!

Safety day with Bryce and Morgan

On Saturday, Jules and I took the kids to Kadlec's Kids Safety Day --- a vendor arena set up in the hospital's parking lot and taught the kids about safety (ex: police, fire, boating, Mr. Yuck, etc). Bryce seemed to enjoy it and Morgan liked stroller time! Bryce even threw the tennis ball and hit the mark to make the guy go in the dunk tank! We were so amazed and he was so proud of himself! There were adults that couldn't hit it!!

Here is a picture of my new GodDaughter :) We head to Ohio in a couple weeks and I am going to be taking lots of newborn pics, so look for those soon! Thank you again N&C! Love you all!

Girls trip to Victoria!

I know this trip happened in March, but I still need to blog it because it was only 3 days after we found out we were pregnant! Barb, Sara, and I took a trip to gorgeous Victoria BC! No coffee or sushi for me, but we had a blast! Love you Auntie Barb and Auntie Sara!

Our trip to see Pete and Julie

Two weekends ago we flew down to Scottsdale to visit Pete and Julie! Scottsdale is so beautiful and they have a gorgeous place! It was so fun to see them and spend time together! We went to a couple cool resorts, drove into Sedona, went to a Diamondbacks game, and ate at the Zaggits-rated BEST pizza place in the world. Not bad for a 4-day weekend!

14 weeks and feeling great

Well, I'm into my 2nd trimester and feeling great! I do have some headaches, but it sounds like that is pretty common. We also love to hear the baby's heartbeat! Weeks 8-10 it was in the 180s and since then it has dropped and stayed in the low- to mid-160s. Blake takes a pic of me every two weeks so we can track progress. Not much yet---I can't wait to pop!

Weeks 7 - 12

Here are our ultrasounds between weeks 7-12. It is amazing to see how the baby changes over a time period of only 10-15 days each time! We are so excited!!

Finding out we're pregnant!

On March 3rd we got the biggest surprise of our lives --- we were pregnant! Earlier than we had expected, but still a welcomed surprise! Here is our first baby pictures ... well, no baby---more like a black-hole picture, but we were still on cloud 9!

Welcome to our blog!

Some may argue that I should be using Facebook or MySpace or something like that for this; but nope! Those are two-way communication devices and right now I don't have extra time to keep up on responding ... so we're going for the one-way, push-mechanism and I will be putting the info out there and it's up to you to see if you care enough to read it! :)
